The assignment was to analyze and redesign the famous compilation of critical writings on graphic design by Kenneth Fitzgerald, Mr. Keedy, and Rick Valicenti, among others. I adopted a jagged, surgical approach, cutting out letterforms, combining and recombining photographs to achieve a feel of discombobulation that illustrated the tone of the writing.
